Maritime Life Shaped by the Sea

This gallery explores maritime life as it unfolds both afloat and along the coast, where vessels, crews, and communities are shaped by constant relationship with the sea. From tall ships underway to fishermen and racing teams working dockside, the images reflect a way of life grounded as much in preparation and routine as in open water.

Here, the boundary between sea and shore is thin. Work continues before departure and after return, and time is structured by tides, weather, and obligation rather than location alone. The photographs observe this continuum — where maritime life is defined not by where it happens, but by the discipline, coordination, and attention required to sustain it.
