This particular day which was consumed by a blizzard, showed the true resilience and fortitude of these birds. One may think the weather would at least slow their hunting down but they proved to do the opposite. Upwards of 50 bald eagles, juveniles and adults, were extremely active, and every time one caught a fish, a dozen eagles would immediately purse in an aerial dog fight in hopes of an easier meal.
