This is a single photo taken of one of the most iconic coastal mountain ranges in the world; Napali Coast of Kaua'i, Hawaii. Those mountains are 4,000' tall. Although the moon was only half full, it was more than capable of making the middle of the night look more like the day, but the stars say otherwise.
